STARTING

The most Greek player goes first.

Deal out cards equal to one more than the number of players.

The start player drafts one into their temple, and goes around the table until everyone has chosen one. Any unchosen cards are placed under the deck.

The player to the left draws the next set of cards.

Drafting continues until one of two things happens:

A Major God is revealed

The Fates Card is revealed

MAJOR GODS:

A major god can be drafted if a player has enough of that gods symbol to equal six. A symbol in the centre on the top will count as two points. A symbol on the right or left side will count as one point. Any cards with that symbol on the bottom will count against the total by one.

If the total equals six or more that god can be drafted into the temple.

If no one is able to draft the god, it goes back into the deck.

FATES CARD:

When the Fates card is drawn:

You may take up to five cards from your temple to form a hand.

You may keep one card in your temple, but all other cards are placed underneath the pile.

The Fates card is shuffled somewhere in the bottom third of the pile.

PLAYING FROM YOUR HAND:

You may use the cards in your hand to attempt to claim a Major God in another persons house. Using cards in your temple and your hand you can make a claim on their god if your total equals more than their total. You may only do this after they have drafted two gods into their temple.

If your total claim is more than theirs you will win their god for your temple. If it is not, any played gods on either side will be discarded into the bottom of the draw pile.

ENDING THE GAME:

The game ends when one character possesses four of the major gods in their temple when Fates is revealed.
